A Typical Day

Honeybees Children
9.30amArrival - the children arrive and have a free choice of planned activities
10.30amSnack Time - the children are offered a healthy snack with a choice of water or milk. This is prepared by the parent on duty and served by their child. This is an activity which all children look forward to and enjoy. Snack time is an opportunity to exchange news and ideas and to talk about the current topic.
11.00amAfter Snack Time - the children participate in planned physical activities outside or inside dependent on weather. There will then usually be a period to resume free play. To conclude the morning the children will help with the tidying away and sit on the carpet ready for story time.
11.45amStory time - There is a daily story time when a variety of stories, rhymes and songs are read and sung with the children.
12noonHome time - the children are collected at the playgroup door by their carers.
